Welcome to the Ohio section of the National Community of Practice in ASD!

We hope this becomes a place that you visit frequently. It is our goal to engage in a conversation that shares perspectives, ideas and solutions from all across the state, from those in various fields and at all levels of scale who work with, advocate for and support individuals with ASD and their families.

Here are some ways you can participate in this community:

  • Post information and links about what is occurring in your area of the state.
  • Offer your knowledge and resources to help the community grow by participating in discussions and adding articles to the files by folder section.
  • Recruit others to join the community.

Special Movie Event Coming Soon to a Theater Near You

AMC Theatres (AMC) is partnering with the Autism Society and Area 23a, an event-based distribution company, for a unique, national theatrical run of the feature documentary WRETCHES & JABBERERS to commemorate National Autism Awareness Month in April.

WRETCHES & JABBERERS is a poignant narrative directed by Academy Award® winner Gerardine Wurzburg that follows two men with autism, Tracy Thresher and Larry Bissonnette, who embark on a global quest to change attitudes about disability, intelligence and communication.
